Director of Anesthesiology
Named one of the nations'
top anesthesiologists by Consumers Research
Council of America in 2006, Dr Roberto C.
Polanco has been practicing anesthesiology
for ten years. Complimented by studies in
anesthesiology at The University of Miami
Jackson Memorial Hospital, he completed
his medical training at Mt Sinai Hospital
in Miami Beach, which included three years
of General Surgery.
Prior to joining the
team at The MIAMI Institute, Dr Polanco
worked as a staff anesthesiologist at Kendall
Hospital in Miami. Dr Polanco also has a
private practice in Pain Management, which
has been open since 2001. Dr Polanco is
a member of both The American Society of
Anesthesiologists and The Florida Society
of Anesthesiologists. He is also a member
of The American Society of Regional Anesthesia
and Pain Medicine, The Florida Academy of
Pain Medicine, The Society of Airway Management,
The American Academy of Pain Medicine and
several others.
