The MIAMI Institute's new "secret weapon" in treating scars is the UltraPulse Encore laser. Commonly used for other cosmetic conditions such as deep wrinkles and unwanted pigment, this system successfully treats scars. The UltraPulse Encore laser uses two different methods of treating the skin as well as a unique delivery to stimulate new collagen growth, lighten dark colors on the scar and remove some of the scar tissue. Scar revision treatment at The MIAMI Institute combines the UltraPulse Encore laser with minor excisions and is meant to minimize the scar to make it more seamless and consistent with the skin surrounding it.

Fractional Co2 Laser treatment for scars, wrinkles and texture has minimal (5 – 7 days) downtime. Patients feel as if the have a sunburn for two hours after the procedure.
