Brow lift surgery, also referred to as a forehead or eyebrow lift, allows plastic surgery patients to achieve a younger, more refreshed look by smoothing the forehead, reducing frown lines, and elevating the position of the eyebrow line. A brow lift will make you appear years younger, but will not dramatically change your appearance for a subtle yet youthful result.

As the aging process advances, the collagen producing cells diminish, and the long-term effects of gravity cause the underlying muscle to stretch, making the brow sometimes sag and wrinkle. This can cause the eyebrows to droop, giving the face a tired or sad appearance and making you appear older. In severe cases drooping brows can even affect vision. A Brow Lift, or "Forehead Lift", is a procedure that restores a younger, more refreshed look to the area above the eyes. The procedure corrects sagging brows and improves the horizontal lines and furrows that can make a person appear angered, sad or fatigued. A brow lift can also remedy a fleshy brow or one that is naturally lined - which sometimes gives the face an overly severe or aggressive look.

At The MIAMI Institute, our surgeons perform 2 (two) types of Brow Lifts:

Endoscopic Forehead Lift, with 5 incisions hidden in the scalp. Additionally, they will sever the muscles of expression between the brow, providing you with results that last decades.
Browpexy, which addresses the lateral (side) brow. This procedure is done mostly when an upper lepharoplasty (Eyelid Lift) is performed.
